Overview
Calcium hypochlorite is a stable, concentrated source of chlorine in solid form. It dissolves to release hypochlorous acid, which kills bacteria, viruses and algae in water quickly and reliably.
With 65% to 70% available chlorine, a small quantity treats a large volume of water, which makes it practical for remote treatment plants, pools and emergency disinfection.
Handling note
This is a strong oxidiser. Keep it away from acids and organic materials, and never mix it with other pool or cleaning chemicals.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry, ventilated area away from acids, organic materials, fuels and other oxidisers. Never mix with other chemicals.
