Overview
LABSA, or linear alkylbenzene sulphonic acid, is the most important raw material in detergent manufacturing. Neutralised with caustic soda or soda ash, it becomes the surfactant that lifts grease and dirt from fabrics and dishes and produces rich, stable foam.
Our 96% grade is light in colour with low free oil and low free sulphuric acid, which gives you consistent neutralisation and a clean final product. We can help you work out the neutralisation ratio for your formulation.
